Vegetable Uthapam
Vegetable Uthapam is one of the healthy indian dish, most filling food at any time. All the combinations of vegetables make it even more delicious. Definitely it tops in my tasty healthy foods list.
Here is the recipe:
Required ingredients:
Dosa batter – 1 cup
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Carrot – 1 grated
Mushroom – 1 tbsp finely chopped
Capsicum – 1 tbsp finely chopped
Idly powder / Dal mixed spice powder – 1 tsp
Sprouts – 1 tbsp (optional)
Coriander leaves – 1 tsp chopped
Ghee – 2 tsp
Preparation Method:
- Heat the dosa kadai / pan.
- Grease the oil in the pan.
- Pour 1 cup of dosa batter and spread it.
- Lower the heat.
- Spread the chopped onions, carrots, capsicum, mushroom, sprouts, coriander leaves on top of it.
- Sprinkle the idly / spice powder and coriander leaves on it.
- Press all the top up ingredients in the batter gently.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp ghee on top of it and another 1 tsp around the corners.
- After 2 minutes, flip the uthapam and cook the vegetables side for another a minute.
- Now take it to a plate and serve hot along with your favorite chutney.
