Squid Veg Salad – Easy tasty healthy salad recipe
Squid and Vegetables salad recipe with step-by-by pictures and video on how to make squid veg salad at home.
Raw vegetables are good for health. We all know that Salads are best way to have raw vegetables in our regular diet.
I have been trying different combinations of salad. Each preparation tastes differently and has its unique flavor. I am so excited when I found such unique taste with this squid vegetable salad recipe.
I bought some squids to make squid rings fry. When I was going to make salad for the day, I thought why not try it with some squid too. That’s how this squid veg salad flashed. I am glad that I tried it. I must admit its yummy and a good variation from regular salads.
You must try it too if you love variety of salads and at the same time healthy food.

Squid and Vegetables Salad
Ingredients
- 100 g squid cleaned
- 3 button mushroom chopped
- 1 carrot chopped 1 inch lengthwise
- 10 beans chopped 1 inch lengthwise
- 1 stem celery chopped 1 inch lengthwise
- 1 cucumber chopped 1 inch lengthwise
- 1 tbsp spring onion finely chopped
- 1/2 flower broccoli chopped
- 1 capsicum chopped 1 inch lengthwise
- 2 tsp Vegtable oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp pepper powder as required
- 1 tsp salt as required
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1 handful parsley finely chopped
- 1 handful coriander leaves finely chopped
Instructions
Wash and cut squid and vegetables
- Take all vegetables as chop all of them in uniform length and same way clean and cut the squid too.
Make Salad
- Heat kadai, add vegetable oil. After oil is heated add cloves and cinnamon stick.
- Add squid pieces, cumin powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder and 1/4 tsp salt. Saute for 3 minutes.
- Add chopped beans, mushroom, spring onion, broccoli, capsicum and celery. Cover and cook all in low flame for 5 minutes stirring in between.
- Turn off the flame and then add cucumber, carrot, parsley and coriander leaves.
- Squeeze the lemon juice, sprinkle the oregano, 1/2 tsp pepper and 3/4 tsp salt or as per your taste.
- Mix them all together, sprinkle the olive oil and serve.
