- 1 cup Almonds | Badam
- ¼ cup Cashews | Mundiri paruppu
- 1 pinch Saffron | Kungumapoo
- ¼ cup Palm sugar or Sugar adjust as per taste
- ¼ tsp Cardamom powder | Yelakai podi
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder | Manjal podi
- 1 Whole cardamom for good aroma
Dry roast the almonds in low flame until it changes it color and start to break. Then keep aside.
Next, dry roast the cashews in low flame until it is little brown.
Let these nuts completely cool down.
Now add almonds, cashew nuts, saffron, cardamom and turmeric powder in mixer jar.
Grind it in pulse mode in mixer grinder. If you do not have pulse mode, you can grind for 5 seconds and turn off.
Continue grinding until it becomes course powder.
Now add palm sugar and grind to powder.
Transfer to air tight container and store it for daily usage.
Add 1 tbsp of this badam powder in hot milk and drink,
