Sweet vella dosai

Sweet vella dosai with jaggery and banana.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 2+ cups Water
  • ½ cup Crushed jaggery
  • ½ cup Mashed banana
  • cup Shredded coconut
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • 2 pinch Nutmeg powder
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of wheat flour and 2 1/2 cups of water.
  • Stir / whisk without lumps.
  • Add crushed jaggery, mashed banana, grated coconut and mix well.
  • Add salt, baking soda, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
  • Mix them all together.
  • Batter consistency should be thick and flowing like dosa/pancake batter.
  • Heat a pan, pour 1/2 cup batter and spread in circular motion.
  • Let it cook for 3 minutes.
  • Then flip to the other side and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Remove from pan and serve with sauce or any of your favorite chutney.
