Clean and chop the fenugreek leaves finely. Discard the stems.
In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, yoghurt, chopped fenugreek leaves, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, green chilli, asafoetida powder, garam masala and salt.
Knead the wheat flour with all other ingredients adding water little by little.
Add oil and knead the dough until it becomes soft.
Cover and let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Then make a small ball and flatten like chapathi / flat bread by dusting with some flour.
Heat the pan and place the flattened chapathi.
On a medium flame, cook on both sides by flipping to each side.
Apply little butter on each side.
Serve hot with your favourite side dish and sliced onions.
