Apple Cookie cake Recipe
Healthy apple cake without sugar, oil or butter.

- 2 Eggs
- 1 Red Apple
- ½ cup Jaggery you can add more if you like it sweeter
- ½ cup Wheat flour / All-purpose flour You can use any of it, depending on your preference
- ¼ tsp Baking soda
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp warm milk
- ½ tsp oil for greasing cake tin
Prepare cake butter
In a mixer, add 2 eggs and jaggery. Grind without lumps.
Transfer this mix to a mixing bowl.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and whisk well.
Whisk until there are no lumps.
Add warm milk for adjusting the required the batter consistency.
Grease the cake tin and place parchment paper and grease again.
Pour the prepared cake batter into cake tin.
Add apple to cake batter
Wash and clean the apple.
Slice the apple into thin lengthy pieces.
Place these apple pieces vertically on the cake tin on top of the cake batter.
Bake
Place the cake tin in pre-heated oven and bake for 40 minutes in 180 degree celcious.
After, it is baked allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Then unmould the cake.
Slice into small pieces and enjoy this apple cookie cake.
- Baking time may vary from 30 to 45 depending on the oven and size of the cake tin. If you use wider cake tin, the cake will be baked faster. So, adjust the baking time as per your oven and tin. You can open and check by pricking in it after 30 minutes.
- I have not used sugar for this apple cookie cake as I wanted to avoid it. I preferred jaggery over sugar as it is healthier and it will not be too sugary.
- If you want, you can add sugar. If you add sugar, adjust sugar. 1/3 cup of sugar will give you mild sweet of 1/2 cup of jaggery; if you want more sweeter, add 1/2 cup sugar.
- I have not added butter or oil in this cake; yet it came out perfectly crunchy and tasty.
