In a cooking pot / pan, add 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp ghee.
Add all spices mentioned under "Spices for seasoning"
Add sliced onions and saute until its turns slightly brown.
Include 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute until its raw smell goes off.
Add red chilli powder, coriander leaves and saute well.
Add chopped tomatoes and saute until its mashed.
Add coriander powder, salt and yoghurt. Mix well.
Add soaked rice and 2 cups of water.
Cover and place some weight on lid, so that the flavors doesn't escape. Once the water started boiling, reduce the flame to very low and cook for 10 minutes.
