Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Lamb liver Cleaned and chopped into small pieces
  • 2 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick / pattai
  • 4 Cloves / Lavangam
  • tsp Cardamom powder / Yelakai podi
  • ½ tsp Fennel seed powder / Perunjeeraga podi
  • ½ tsp Aniseed
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Salt as required
  • 1 tsp Ghee optional
  • 1 handful Coriander leaves
  • few Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

Instructions
 

  • Add oil in a pre-heated kadai. Then add cinnamon sticks, cloves, aniseed and cardamom powder.
  • Add finely chopped onion and saute for couple of minutes until it becomes transparent.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste, fennel seed powder and cook until ginger garlic's raw smell goes.
  • We can add chopped liver pieces and mix well.
  • Add salt, pepper powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
  • Mix and Saute for couple of minutes and then add ghee now if you want to add ghee.
  • Cook covered for 10 minutes or until liver is cooked. Keep stirring in between.
  • Once liver is cooked, add coriander leaves and mix well then turn off the heat.
  • Serve the liver stir fry hot.

Notes

Notes:
  1. If you add ghee, it will enhance the flavour and tastes yummy.
  2. If you overcook the liver, it will become hard. So, cook for required time only and turn off the heat.
