- 100 gram Indian ginger Try to use native indian ginger
- 1/2 cup Palm jaggery You can adjust as per your taste
- 3 cloves Garlic optional
Peel off the ginger and cut into small pieces. Grind it (with garlic if you add) by adding 1/2 cup water and extract the juice. Add little more water and grind then extract the juice. Discard the ginger waste.
Keep the ginger juice undisturbed for 10 minutes.
Heat kadai and add palm jaggery and 1/2 cup water. Cook until jaggery gets dissolved.
Filter the jaggery and slightly heat it. Add ginger juice without mixing and turn off the heat immediately.
Discard the sedimented ginger powder. Let the jaggery ginger mix cool down.
Drink the ginger juice mix once it is cool down.
Try to use native indian ginger variety for better results.
China ginger or hybrid ginger to be avoided and it is too much spicy too compared indian ginger.
